🌱Growth Thoughts:

If goals are destinations, habits are the pathways.

Having a goal is the start of change.
“I want to lose 30lbs.”

Once you establish a goal, the next step is to change your habits.
What we do daily determines how our future looks like.

If you want to become a leaner version of yourself, find habits that align with who you want to be. Immerse yourself with repeatable habits.

When thinking about habits, Here are some things to think about:
How often does this person train? How does training look like?
What does this person’s meals look like?
How does this person carry him/herself at a family dinner?
How does this person deal with stress?

Yes they have unsustainable diets where you eliminate certain food groups. 30 day challenges. Detox teas, cleanses, and weight loss pills.
The problem with shortcuts are that they don’t solve the bigger problem of changing who you are.

“I just want a head start.”
“I’m just going to try it then go to something more sustainable after.”

But for those trying to lose weight, losing weight isn’t the hard part.
It’s about becoming the person who didn’t need to lose weight in the first place.

🌱 The Right Workouts Save You Time

Meaningful fitness is about adaptation The whole concept of training comes from adaptation. You do a workout that challenges your body, then you adapt. Training is all about that progression. Different exercises, rep schemes, rest times, are tools used to create change: * Lower rest times can build endurance. * Heavier weights

🌱 On Testing Yourself

Dude what’s your bench? What’s your mile time? How much can you bench? How many pull-ups can you do? These are common tests you hear when it comes to gauging fitness levels. While benching, running, and doing pull-ups are very specific benchmarks, testing can show you how close
